I, the undersigned loyal resident of Quebec, pledge to do all I can to ensure that every Bloc Quebecois member of parliament and candidate is driven from power, as a result of Yves-Francois Blanchet’s declaration of war on the heart, soul and historical foundations of Quebec society, namely, Christianity and the Holy Bible.
In December 2025, Bloc leader Yves-François Blanchet proposed a menacing, anti-Christian amendment to federal Bill C-9, the Liberal government’s censorious “hate speech” bill.
Blanchet’s amendment will remove the Criminal Code’s religious belief defense which currently protects Christians from accusations of “hate speech” if they publicly quote from the Holy Bible on controversial matters. It means believers can be jailed up to 2 years… for preaching the Bible!
This is an unprecedented assault by the Bloc on the very same faith which gave birth to Quebec, and on the Sacred Scriptures which nourished her founding fathers like Samuel de Champlain and St. Jean de Brébeuf.
To disguise its war posture against the Church, the Bloc is pretending that this Bill C-9 amendment is really targeting Islam, to outlaw calls for violent Jihad, and to protect churches from the type of provocative, mass Muslim prayer gatherings that occurred repeatedly outside of Notre-Dame Basilica.
But that is a deception. Blanchet’s amendment is not designed to deter any Islamic activity, whatsoever. The Bloc’s target is not Islam or the Quran. It is Christianity and the Bible alone.
This was revealed most clearly by Blanchet’s federal accomplice, the Liberal Minister of Culture, Marc Miller, who, during a debate on Bill C-9 stated that several passages from the Old and New Testament are “clearly hateful” and “there should perhaps be discretion for prosecutors to press charges… there are clearly passages in religious texts that are clearly hateful.”! Miller did not site Quranic passages – only the Christian Bible.
The Bloc has crafted an image as “the great defender” of Quebec society and heritage. But the reality is that Blanchet’s amendment is designed to ransack Quebec’s heritage, to criminalize Christianity. He and his party must pay a political price for this.
I pledge to do my part to drive out these BQ despots for their attack on my Christian faith and my right to publicly cite the Bible!
