On January 27th, hundreds of thousands of pro-life Americans marched for life in Washington DC. It was an amazing event that filled everyone with a sense of joy and unity.

CLC’s Vice-President Jeff Gunnarson was there together with a delegation of CLCYouth who represented the Canadian pro-life movement. As they stood in front of the Canadian Embassy (which happens to be on the march route), waving their Canadian flags and pro-life signs, they were greeted with endless hugs, high-fives, photo requests and chants of “We Love Canada!” It was an incredible display of why we often refer to the pro-life movement as a family. In less than 3 months, on May 11, 2017, we too will be marching for life in our nation’s capital. This year marks the 20th National March for Life in Ottawa as well as the 150th anniversary of Canada's confederation. In honour of these historic, milestone events, we are very excited to announce this year’s March for Life theme: Life, We Stand on Guard for Thee The 2017 theme is a reminder to all of us that respecting and valuing human life at all its stages is and always has been a part of our Canadian identity. Even if our current Prime Minister and many in Parliament are ignoring the rights of pre-born children, we will not.

This week, we have also launched our 2017 promo video for the March. Please watch it (below) and share with your family and friends. You can ask your pastor to play it after Sunday service.
